Dani and Alex have their first disagreement.

Alex and Dani have their first disagreement in Melbourne.

The penguis in Melbourn build their nests in the sand-dunes, so the

penguis cross every evening the street between sea and their nests.

The penguis are a trourist-attraction in Melbourn.

Alex didn't like,that the trourist make photos and so on.

Dani think,the penguis are ' a part of Melbourne'.

So they have a 'little' disagreement.

I think , Dani was a little bit annoyed , because

all the time the same person(s).

And then she didn't sleep very long.

In German, I say :" It was a 'Kurzschlussreaktion' " xD

Alex and his new friend Kevin speack about Alex father Tom.

Alex is very ineresting to know something about him.

I think,he is surprise,that Tom has this good life in Australia

[ and that Tom does'nt know ,that he has a son. ]

Why does Alex think "Let him see how he likes is." ?

I think Alex want to learn

more about his father.

short summary

Alex learn something about Tom's wife Mary and

the two kids : Dominic and Luke.

Tom aren't in Australia. "He'll be back in a couple of days",said Mary.

Poor Alex!

At Mary' home ,he know Dani.

A girl , who lives in the 'next door'

They speak about music and the pop group 'The Beat Crew'.

At last , he write in his diary about his first impression

of Australia,Mary and Dani.

I like this chapter.

You knew so much things about Australia and Mary.
I think , Mary is a very sympathetically person,very nice and hospitable.

I can understand , that Alex is disappointed. He comes to Australia , to know his

father Tom and he isn't in Australia.

Maybe,Tom is afraid to meet Alex..?

short summary

In the first chapter of the book "Australian Connection" ,

we learn something about the kingpin:Alex.

Alex and his mother live in England , Europe.

His father Tom live in Australia ,so Alex want to meet

his father with the air-ticket , that bought Alex' mother,after

they made a deal.Alex has a black and white picture of him and his father,

he was two-and-a-half on this picture, and a short letter ,that Alex

can come to Sydney to visit him.

I want to lern more about Alex and the realationship

beetween him and his father. I hope Alex' trip will be exiting

and he wille like his father Tom..
